Fried Corn

This is a very unique and attractive dish. Its aroma is exquisite as well as its flavor and texture. It is a rich element to accompany a day among friends and family.

Its ingredients are:

  • 4 tablespoons vegan butter
  • One 16-ounce bag frozen corn, defrosted
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup coconut cream
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation:

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. When the butter is frothy, add the corn mixture to cover with the butter. Cook stirring frequently for 1 minute. Add sugar or honey and cook for 2 more minutes. Increase the heat to high and add thick cream. Continue stirring so that the corn does not stick to the pan. Add salt and pepper. Cook the corn until most of the cream has absorbed about 5 minutes more. Serve hot.
